A 500 mm metal or natural stone sphere with continents as a globe sundial. Continents and large islands are already cast from bronze in the lost wax process. They have a thickness of about 5 mm and are not attached directly to the sphere, but at a distance of about 5 mm so that they appear to float. Other elements that enable the true local time to be measured will also be given a special design.
The illustration shows the first designs on a hollow steel sphere.
