Mathematical Quadrant “MB 90” (16th/17th century)

The front side is modeled after a quadrant at the Adler Planetarium, Chicago. The perforated, rotatable grid serves to convert spherical coordinates. On the back, there is a sine grid and a tangent scale with a movable ruler.
