Astrolabe according to Codex 196 “MB 02” (around the 10th century)

The reconstruction of this astrolabe is based on a Latin manuscript written around the year 1000, held by the Burgerbibliothek Bern. The partially illustrated Codex 196 introduces the structure and usage of the astrolabe.
